Knott C76302 750kg Suspension - 100mm PCD C Series Trailer Hubs

Knott C76302 750kg Suspension is a genuine Knott Avonride part.

This sale is for 1x pair of 750kg suspension units with 4 stud 100mm PCD hubs which include an auto reverse function, 750kg is the maximum gross weight across the pair. And is designed for use with ET0-ET20 wheels.

We recommend these wheels so that the bearings are loaded correctly, which ensures a longer bearing life.

The suspension mounts on 8 holes per unit.

Maintenance and fitting

These units are fitted with Taper roller bearings that can be maintained.
As with any bearings it is good practice to check bearings at least every 6 months or 3,000 miles.

These can be checked in minutes with no special tools, just shake the wheel and check for play, then lift the wheel off the ground and spin it to make sure it runs smooth
If there is a problem the bearings can be taken out, cleaned and inspected.

Re greasing is also possible with these bearings.
When initially tightening the castle nut Torque to 70Nm rotate the hub through 1 full rotation then back the nut off.  The castle nut then must be a maximum of finger tight just removing any free play.

Caution over tightening the castle nut will drastically shorten the life of the bearing.
We recommend the bearings are checked after the first 500miles from fitting as they can bed in.

Torque settings
Wheel nuts / bolts 100Nm
Hub nut Tighten to 70Nm rotate hub 1 full rotation back off then tighten figure tight
M12 bolts to mount the suspension units 70Nm.

· 160x35mm Brake Shoes

· 47mm Hub Cap

· 571001 Bearing Set

· Castellated Hub Nut
